  • Remebering Allison March Founding member of HWC

Allison March was born March 26, 1959 and passed away peacefully January 22, 2026 after a lengthy battle with cancer. She leaves behind three children, one grandson, four siblings and numerous nieces and nephews.
Allison grew up in Medfield MA and graduated from Medfield High School. She held numerous jobs in the food service industry – everything from server to manager. Her professional life came alive when she became a licensed massage therapist. Allison was one of the original founders along with her sister, Darrah O’Connor of Holistic Wellness Center, LLC located in Medfield MA. She was a gifted practitioner, who had a real talent for reflexology. Her clients reported feeling extremely well-tended and she brought her sharp sense of humor to the treatment room.
Allison was a free spirit who lived life fully on her terms. She was an animal lover and advocate who had many wonderful pets (cats, ferrets) over the years. Her other passions were painting and drawing. She was featured in an art show a few years ago, and that brought her a lot of joy. Many of us are lucky to have some of her work as a remembrance of happier times. She had struggles, but her love for her close friends and family never waivered. She was an extremely caring and good friend and family member.
Allison’s loss leaves a big hole in our family’s heart.
A Celebration of Life and reception in her honor will be held Wednesday, February 25 11am-1pm at the United Church of Christ in Medfield. All are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations go to the Medfield Animal Shelter.
